Freelancer time tracking: how TaskFlow timers and timesheets work
How freelancer time tracking works in TaskFlow — per-task start/stop timers, automatic timesheet roll-ups, and per-client breakdowns for accurate billing.
Accurate time tracking is the difference between getting paid for your work and guessing at the end of the week. TaskFlow puts a timer on every task so freelancers can track time exactly where the work happens, and totals it automatically.
One-click timers per task
Open a task and hit start. The timer runs while you work; hit stop and the session is saved. You don't pick a project from a dropdown or copy a description — the timer already knows which task and client it belongs to.
Timesheets that total themselves
Every stopped session appears in your Timesheet, grouped and totaled with Today, This Week, and This Month filters. Because time is tied to tasks and clients, you can see exactly how long each piece of work took and which client it was for — ready for invoicing.
Stay focused with reminders
TaskFlow sends deadline reminders and recurring-task reminders so nothing slips. If a running timer sits idle for a long time, you get a gentle nudge — your timer never silently logs hours you didn't work.
